In 2017, I had the pleasure of finding my way back to Thailand after ten years. As most visitors I arrived in the capital city of Khrung Thep aka Bangkok.
Apart from busy places being more busy, most things felt comfortably familiar, even those places I never visited before. With most of the temples seen many times before, I decided to explore more of the artistic side of the city, with the Bangkok Art and Cultural Centre and the MOCA as the two obvious yet satisfying temples of art to visit, the true beauty for me still lies in the smaller canals and even smaller communities pocketed away under the concrete highrises.
